Operation

Replaces one indexed vector lane with a floating-point scalar value.

VFINSERT interprets the scalar index as unsigned and replaces only that lane of Vd. The H, S, and D forms copy the selected floating-point value from Fn and leave FFLAGS unchanged. Every lane at another index retains its previous value.

An index at or above the selected vector element count raises VECTOR_LANE_INDEX_OUT_OF_RANGE. The faulting instruction commits no destination change.
