VFMIN applies the scalar floating-point minimum rules to each active H, S, or D destination element and its corresponding source element. The register form and the memory-source form write the selected value to the destination vector lane. An inactive destination lane retains its previous value.
The memory-destination form combines each active destination element with the corresponding source-register element and writes the selected value back to that memory element. Inactive memory elements retain their previous values, making the destination transaction a lane-wise read-modify-write.
