VECTOR

VTRUNCL copies the low L field of each Q source container into the low L field of the corresponding destination container. For an active container, the high L field of the destination retains its previous value. An inactive container retains its complete previous destination value. The operation leaves FLAGS unchanged.

An illustrative Q-container VTRUNCL view: each active container copies the low source longword into the low destination longword and preserves the old destination high longword; inactive containers preserve the complete old destination value.
